Uploading a Document to an End User's SDE Area

You can upload one or more documents by dragging them to a target area within the SDE.

  • Within the SDE area, search for the relevant user.
  • Navigate to the folder within the user's folder structure where you would like to upload the document(s) or create a folder if required.
  • On your local computer, open the folder containing the documents you would like to upload.
  • Select the documents on your local computer
  • Drag and drop the documents onto the target area in the SDE. You will see icons representing the documents.
  • Click Upload. The documents will be uploaded and you will see a confirmation. You will be taken to the notification screen where you can send notifications to both the client and an administrator.

Browse

You can upload one or more documents by clicking on a target area within the SDE and then browsing your local computer for documents.

  • Within the SDE area, search for the relevant user.
  • Navigate to the folder within the user's folder structure where you would like to upload the document(s) or create a folder if required.
  • Click on the target area and a browse window will open.
  • Browse to where the documents to be uploaded are stored on your local computer.
  • Select the document(s) to be uploaded
  • Click Open. You will see icons representing the documents on the target area.
  • Click Upload. The documents will be uploaded and you will see a confirmation. You will be taken to the notification screen where you can send notifications to both the client and an administrator.
